Senior Shopper

Volunteer with our Senior Shopper Program

Make a difference by becoming a volunteer for isolated and vulnerable seniors seeking to continue to maintain independent living.

The Senior Shopper Program provides grocery shopping to home bound seniors who have been referred to JFS by the Somerset County Office on Aging.

JFS Senior Shopper Program volunteers are screened, trained, and matched with seniors who are not able to grocery shop for themselves, based on availability and preferences of the volunteer for geographic location and time commitment.
