Make a difference by becoming a volunteer for isolated and vulnerable seniors seeking to continue to maintain independent living.
The Senior Shopper Program provides grocery shopping to home bound seniors who have been referred to JFS by the Somerset County Office on Aging.
JFS Senior Shopper Program volunteers are screened, trained, and matched with seniors who are not able to grocery shop for themselves, based on availability and preferences of the volunteer for geographic location and time commitment.

Expectations of Volunteers:
Complete all required paperwork at time of enrollment
Assist with unpacking groceries based on senior's need for assistance
Complete a monthly log of service hours and submit to JFS
Maintain confidentiality
