We are pleased to invite you to join Jewish Family Service of Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties in the fight against hunger in our community. The rapidly increasing cost of living and ongoing social challenges are making it difficult for our neighbors to purchase groceries and meet everyday needs. According to Feeding America, the largest hunger-relief organization in the US, “In New Jersey, 657,320 people are facing hunger — and of them 175,830 are children.” That means that 1 in 14 people face hunger, and 1 in 11 children face hunger. The 6th Annual Soup for the Soul on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at 5 PM will feature heroes fighting food insecurity in New Jersey and highlight how JFS is working to address these issues. The couvert of $54 includes Glatt Kosher dinner and an engaging program. You can learn more and register here.
